This art deco home has undergone a subtle transformation to bring it up to contemporary standards. The client sought to modernise the family home by providing more open, family-oriented spaces including a pergola and poolside deck to relax and entertain, a larger main bathroom, new master bedroom and ensuite, private deck and laundry, whilst maintaining the character of the home.

The architecturally designed master bedroom and ensuite extension provided a desirable parents retreat. There is a successful blend of traditional and modern elements. The use of luxurious materials elevates the elegance of the details, such as embellished ceilings, ornamental cornices, and freezes and traditional colour palette effectively complimented the original design.
